LONDON, May 24.
The "Daily Express" states that the sncoMß of General Pilendski, the Polish commander, has been short-lived. Reports from Lemburg assert that the Russian Soviet army recaptured Kieff after a six hours' bombardment and heavy fighting. Poland threatens to make war on Czecho-Slovakia. There is a danger that if -war commences. Hungary -will intervene to crush Slovakia and establish a common frontier with. Poland.—(A. and jN.Z. Cable.)
