MIXED MATRIMONY.
A BROTHERLY TANGLE. LONDON, May 8. A message from Totnes states that a naval lieutenant, Wilfred Haves, who has been charged with bigamy, pleaded in defence that when he returned from
leave in Ireland in 1015 he found that his brother, who very much resembled him, had married his fiancee under his name. Later, at his brother's suggestion, he filled the husband's place without the wife discovering him, and afterwards married another woman under his brother's name. Hayes was remanded. . . '
