IONIC WITH SOLDIERS.
Another small draft of troops will return on the lonic, which has been delayed by bad weather, and will not arrive until Thursday morning. The draft comprises 24 of all ranks, 23 wires and two naval details. Men for stations south of Frankton, on tliu Main Trunk line, and for the South. Island, will leave by the Main Trunk repress on Thursday evening, ivhi.'e t'ae Gieborae men will also leave by train. Meals will be provided on the'day of disembarkation by the Auckland Patriotic Society.
