FIRE AT MANGAPEHI.
COMPAXVS STORE BURNED. (By Telegraph.- Own Correspondent.> TE KUITI. this day. A lire occurred at Mangapfhi on Saturday night in the Trading Company's store, wluch was destroyed, only the books being saved. Tlie' building and stock were insured for .tliioOO. and the estimated loss to tlie company is £1500. The origin of the fire is unknown. The watchman passed shortly before and noticed nothing strange, Later he located the outbreak, ami gavu the alarm. This is the second tire that has occurred in a short period.
