CORONER'S INQUEST.
RECOGNITION" OP BRAVERY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WATHI, this day. An inquest on the body of Iris Barker was held this morning by the district coroner, Mr. W. At. Waiinult, and a verdict of accidental death was returned. The coroner said the evidence showed clearly that the accident to the fire engine had not contributed in any shape or form to the death of the child. He commented ou the bravery of the boy lamra Barker, and added a rider recommending that the streets be immediately cleared of wandering horses and cattle, and that police action should be taken in the matter.
