FOUND DEAD IN BED.
An elderly man named William Stanley was found dead in bed at "Glenallen" lioardinghmise. Hobson Street, on Sunday morning. He had taken a room on Saturday evening, stated that he intended to suiy till Monday, when he was going to the Hospital for treatment for internal trouble. Early on Sunday morning the proprietor 'saw him going to the lavatory, looking quite well, and some three hours later found him dead in bed in his room. At in inquest before Mr. J. E. Wilson, S.M., this morning evidence was given that Stanley, a. plumber by trade and a widower, about 03 years of age. who had lived for the last three 3 - ears in Hardingo Street, had not been in good health for some years past. He attributed a yellow nesi of skin and a gradual wasting to jaundice, and more recently hud complained of .heart trouble. Dr. Kenneth Mackenzie, who had been summoned to the huurdinghousc and had made an external examination, stated l.lwt the body bore no external signs of violence, and that his opinion was that death was due to heart trouble, following on long-standing disea-se of the liver. The coroner, after hearing evidence as to tilt- circumstances, immediately surrounding the death, found according to tin , medical testimony.
