SECRET GERMAN ARMY.
REPORTS DISCREDITED. EXPORTS OF MUNITIONS. (Received 10.:i0 a.m.) LONDON, April 20. The Australian Tress understands that official circles discredit the reports from Germany referring to a large secret army immediately mobilisable and distributed among Prussian estates. The authorities admit that l'omerania is likely to cause trouble for some time to come owing to the obstructionist tactics of the remnants of Dr. Kapp's followers, but the Allied missions report that work of disarmament is proceeding with comparatively little friction. On the other hand, Germany's export of arms and ammunition to Finland and the Baltic Statee raises a difficult problem, and it may be necessary to stop this trailic in view of its effect interfering with the efforts to secure worldwide disarmament. —(A. and N.Z.)
