THE FEMALE FRANCHISE.
EXTENSION ACCEPTED. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, March 2G. The Standing Committee of the Honsi , of Comraone has considered Jtr. T. \V. Grundy'e bill, the feature of which was to reduce the qualifying age for female voters from 30 to 21 years, placing them on the same level as male voters. Mr. ('. Addison announced that the Government accepted the principle of giving the same franchise to women as to men. — (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
