WAR MOTOR BUS VETERANS.
INSPECTED BY KING. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON. February 15. The King inspected London motor bus 843, which served on the Continent throughout the war, and is now plying again in the London streets. A brass plate affixed shows that it served at Antwerp, Ypres, the Ancre, the Somme, and at Amiens, the last-nameel in lillS. A number of other motor buses distinguished with war records ami similarly plated have resumed street traffic. The King, on entering 843, remarked: "This is the first time J have been inside an omnibus."—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
