Kelly, of the Railway Department, , wis accidentally drowned in the river J below tho Esplanade. v During the searching operations the t police discovered the body of a middle- c aged man that had probably been in the c water for three months or more. There I c was nothing to establish his identity r beyond tattoo marks. FATALITY AT DUXEDIX. DUNEDIX. Sunday. 8 A single man named Lester Vernon : ~ Cliff, 21 years of age, residing at Cavers-1 ham, was drowned while bathing at St.'} Clair yesterday. The body has not yet j been recovered. I RABBIT SHOOTING FATALITY. r IXYERC'ARGILL, Sunday. While rabbit shooting yesterday, Miss t Jean Mac Donald. 20 years of age, a resi- . t dent of Clifton, accidentally shot herself 1 in the body. An operation was performed { at the Southland Hospital, but the girl <' died this morning.
