SUICIDE AT MANUREWA.
MAX SHOOTS BUOELF. WEARY OF HOUSE HUXTDOG. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondents PAPAKTJRA, this day. Joseph Kennerlay met hie death from a. gunshot, self-inflicted, yesterday at Manurewa. The evidence tendered a: the inquiry held by the district coroner. Mr. Cecil Roadley." at Manurewa. to-day showe that deceased, a man 75 year* of age. met with an accident at last Christmas time by falling from a tram ear. Since then he had complained of paine in the head and that, combined with a constant "house hunt," had evidently temporarily unhinged his mind to so serious a degree that, upon experiencing "the pleasure of a quiet life' , when visiting his daughter, Mrs. Sarali Cottle, at Manurewa, he decided (as per entry in his pocket book, ' - I can't go back"), to terminate hie existence. The coroner, after careful inquiry, brought in a verdict ac of suicide durinpr temporary insanity.
