SUPREME COURT SENTENCES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. In the Supreme Court Edward Donoghue and John Patrick McCarthy were charged with the theft of sacks. The former was admitted to probation for two years, and the latter' got six months' imprisonment. Colin Duff, for breaking and entering and theft was sentenced to twelve months' hard labour. Clifford Hilton McParlane, charged with breaking and entering and theft was admitted to probation for two years. Waaka Taylor, for theft and breaking and entering, was ordered two years'•reformative treatment. ...
