SINGLE WOMAN DROWNED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON-, Wednesday. , The body of a woman was found on I the Makara Beach this morning. Later it was identified aa that of a single woman, Gertrude Sarah Knight, 49 years of age, who had been missing since Tuesday night. Deceased, who was a Wellington resident, had been in ill-health for some time.
