TEXAN HURRICANE.
A POST DEMOLISHED. TWELVE LIVES LOST. GALVESTON, September 16. A hurricane demolished the port of Aransas Pass on Mustang Island, in the Gulf of Mexico. Loss of life is reported. Twelve persons were killed in the adjacent towns of Corpus Christi. The British steamer Median, 0308 tons, was lifted ashore at Aransas Pass by the hurricane.—(A. and _>"_!. Cable.)
