At Daljrety and Company's stock sale, which was held in their yards at Paeroa ™ Monday, there was a fairly good yarding. The quality offered was In most cases in a very backward condition, which resulted in nn all round decline in prices from late rates. There was a good attendance of buyers, but the bidding, which was by no means brisk, resulted In several lots lirinp passed in. Dairy cows realised from £10 R/ to £14 10/, poorer sorts, from £5 2/6 to £8 10/; dairy heifers, from £11 to £12 10/; | empty cows, from £S !)/ to £13 6/: two-year- j old bullocks, medium quality, up to £10 10/; yearling mixed sexes, from £2 10/ to £4 ! !)/. There was little or no demand for i store cuttle, aud In most instances wers ', nassed in. There was no prime fat beef I offered, consequently butchers and dealers had to procure their supplies from secondKrade quality. There was a few entries of piss, but they were also in poor demand, and falline to realise the vendors' reserve iv most cases remained unsold.
