SYRIAN MANDATE.
TRENCH TO ACCEPT IT. (Received 2.40 p.m.) PARIS, September 10. It ise understood that the provisional agreement between Mr. Lloyd George and 3VI. Clemenceau stipulates that French troops shall relieve the British in Upper Syria. Newspapers reiterate that Britain will support the French mandate over -Syria.—(A. ad N.Z. Cable.)
