KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
At a largely attenced meeting of the' office-bearers of Knox Church, Parnell, it ■was unanimously agreed to set up a committee to inaugurate a "forward movement." The committee will investigate every department of the church's activities with the object of strengthening them. It -will specially inquire as to the possibility of reaching those who have lapsed from church attendance. It will also deal with the practical problems Taised in its district by the high cost of living, and eeek to relieve the needs of the poor and the sick. It has been felt that no time could be more opportune than the present for a real advance.
