WELLINGTON TRAM FARES.
TWOPEXXY ZUINXtfUM ADOPTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Consequent upon increased wages recently granted, and the increased cost of material, the finances of the city tramways for some time have been in an unsatisfactory condition, and the City Council, being faced last night with a Jeficit, decided to institute a new scale •of fares, the principal change being a iwopenny TninmrnTn fare.
