HEIR'S BANKRUPTCY. CURIOUS REVELATIONS. LONDON, August 7. Curious revelations were made at an examination of Lord Edward Fitzgerald in the Bankruptcy Court. Lord Edward Fitzgerald is heir presumptive to the Duke of Leinster, who is unmarried an imbecile. Lord Fitzgerald said that his liabilities were £68,000, due to borrowing, irrespective of the interest charged. He sold his revisionary interest in the Leinster estates to Mr. Mallaby Deeley, M.P., for £67,500, with power to repurchase at any time within the ensuing decade. The annual income of the estate is £45,000.—(A. and N.Z.)
