CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINMENT.

"Parent" considers that a mistake has been made in not giving the school children a nlace in Saturday's display. The decision to postpone the outdoor entertainment until November for children was arrived at after consultation with the headmasters of schools. It is not (desirable to incur the risk'to health which would be involved in a big muster of children in the Domain at this time of the year. The younger children will be entertained in their respective schoolrooms, while the older boys and girls will also be treated to refreshments andi sweets, at the picture shows, and short patriotic addresses will be delivered to impress the character.of the celebration on their memories.
