BANNING ROSS RIFLE.
SEW ZEALANDERS' SUCCESS. (Received 11.35 a.m.)
LONDON", July 11. The Nev- Zcalanders, using the Ross frifle in sweepstake matches, carried everything before them. The Australians, Using Loe-Enfields, could not satisfactorily compete, and therefore the New Zealanders' exceptional shootnig caused the banning of the Ross riflp. A strike of markers at the inter-ser-vice rifle meeting at Bisley interrupted the shooting.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
