REPATRIATION BOARD.
The Auckland District Repatriation Board during the -week dealt with 31 applications for assistance to purchase furniture. There were also forty applications for aid in starting in business. Of these 27 were recommended to the Ministerial Board, some were withdrawn, others deferred for further reports, and in only two cases was the Board unable to make a favourable recommendation.
