RETURN OF THE EXILES.
MANUKA DUE TO-MORROW. DOCTORS AND NURSES ABOARD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WEUUNOTOX, Thursday. The esteamer Manuka, inward from Sydney with a number of stranded Xew Zealanders among her passengers, is expected to arrive in Wellington Harbour on "Saturday. The Minister for Public Health said to-day that there were two doctors and two nurses on the ship, so there would be skilled attendance available should sickness occur among the passengers. The ship would ■be inspected on arrival by the port health officer, and if her bill of health was clean pratique would be granted at once. If there was disease on board the utmost precautions would he taken. The Minister added that there was accommodation for from 270 to 300 people at Somes Island Quarantine Station, and for as many as GOO at the Auckland station.
