A DRIVER KILLED.
MOTOR LORRY CAPSIZES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAWERA, Thursday. A married man, Richard Harris, employed by the Electric Light Company, met with a fatal accident this afternoon while driving a motor-lorry from Normanby to Hawera. When near .the racecourse he left the road to pass a. car going in the same direction. In regaining the road the lorry capsized. Harris was thrown clear, but when picked up was dead. The lorry was not travelling fast, and its overturning is unexplainablc. Deceased leaves a wife and family.
