TWO REVOLVERS.
AND AN ELECTRIC TORCH. YOUTH CHARGED WITH THEFT. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Friday. At the Whangarei Magistrate's Court a youth, about seventeen years of age named Matthew Dickson Appeared on several charges of theft. Accused was arrested on warrant from Auckland, where he was charged with two thefts and is also suspected of others. He was also charged with theft of a revolver and £1 18/ cash at Tauroroa. When arrested Dickson was found to be carrying two revolvers and an electric torch. On the Tauroroa charge he was found guilty and sentenced to seven days' hard labour. lie will appear in Auckland on the 27th next to answer the other charges.
