THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. TWO THREE-POIOT WINS. TO EDEI-i AND GRAFTON. A TWO-POINTER TO PONSONBY. The district cricket championships were continued on Saturday Iv toe weather and on good wickets. At Eden Park the home team carried their flrst innings score from 164 for five wickets to 206 for seven, ami then declared, leaving University with a defv-it of 182 runs on the first innings. Eden dismissed University, the last wicket falling last two minutes before drawing rime, for 17R. which gave them a three-point win. At North Shore, Graf ton gained a threepoint win over North Shore. Grafton had made 81 in their first innings, iv reply to which Shore made only .JS. and Grafton made 12.S for three wickets in their second Innings last week. On continuing, Grafton carried their total to 210. and dismissed Shore for 161, getting an outright win by 81 runs. Ponsonby carried their first innings from 865 for five wickets to 282, in response to rarnclls first innings oX 103. Parnell in tbeir second knock made 279, and staved off the three-point defeat, Ponsonby winning ftu the first innings.
