Buyere of P. and 0. deferred stock advanced their offers to £390 this morning, but no sales resulted at that figure. Colonial Sugar shares, Australian issue, were again wanted at £23 15/, and for N.Z. War bonds £9G 15/ was offered, while for inscribed stock £97 was the buying quotation. National Insurance were a little firmer to-day, buyers offering £3 12/, while for X.Z. Insurance £12 5/ is still the buying rate. Huddfirt Parker Steam can now be placed at £2 V, and buyers came in for Westport Coal at £1 11/.
