FRENCH CAPTURE LA FERE.
HEIGHTS OF DAfIIZG ALSO OCCUPIED.
(Received 2.40 p.m.) LONDON, October 13. A French official report states: —We have captured La Fere, an important fortress on the Oise, midway between St. Qnentrn and Laon. We have also occupied the heights of Danizg, a mile and a-half east of La Fere.— (High Commissioner's Cable.)
