WEATHER WARNING.
Mr. Clement Wragge supplied the following meteorological statement at 11 o'clock this morning: —
A iarge barometric disturbance named "Dacon" is now affecting all North Auckland, and is travelling southwards. Very unsettled weather, with a considerable rainfall, will be experienced all over the North lsand, with strong winds to gale from between E.N.E., N.N J!., and N.N.W. At the present time it is uncertain which way the winds will shift thereafter, but it will probably be to west and south-west. Rising seas. The extent with which barometer is fairing is an ominous sign of dirty conditions. Shipping iPvised."
The Dominion Meterologist to-day publishes a special warning for stormy weather, with heavy rain« iyid rivers rising.
