WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC LEAGUE.

The annual meeting of the Auckland Women's Patriotic League took the form of a social "At Home" this year. The Council Chamber had been prepared as a drawing room, and looked very pretty with little tables scattered about, each holding a vase of spring flowers. The stage had been profusely decorated with foliago r.n.! flowering plante, while big bunches of freeziaa added to the pretty effect.
