THE COAL CRISIS.
COAL OWNERS CONFER. A CONFEBENCE LIKELY. . (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Representatives of the coal mine owners are still conferring here. It is understood that as the owners do not wish to have the Government or the public worried by a strike in these difficult timee they have shown willingness to agree to any reasonable course of action to facilitate a settlement, and it is expected that a conference between the delegates and the disputants will be arranged.
