THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
His Excellency the Governor-General left for Wellington last evening to inspect reinforcements and present medals. He is expected back in Auckland on Wednesday. I Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool, accompanied by Lady Lockhart, paid informal visits to the Myers and I Campbell Kindergartens this morning.
