AUSTRALIA AND AMERICA.
LONDON, June 23. The Premier of Australia (Mr VV. M Hughes) states that the policy of appointing a trade representative to watch Australian interests in America is under consideration, with a view to early action. Mr Hughes denies the report that he is likely tn remain in England or America. He added that the question of the appointment of a Minister to represent the Commonwealth in London for the duration of the war deserved serious consideration.— (A. ami N.Z.)
