RIOTERS DEMONSTRATE AGAINST GERMAN EMBASSY.

ZURICH, June 23. There arc 150,000 munition workers on strike in Vienna. The police disper-e.l rioters attempting to attack the German Embassy, and shouting, ''The Geriuar.s are starving us. Down with Germany." Many arrests were made, and a number of strikers injured. The Socialist leaders are making strenuous efforts to control the workers. It is reported that Hungary is sending 2000 trucks of potatoes anil other vegetables, and Germany 1000 trucks of wheat. This is lor the army, not lor civilian.-. Dr. yon Seidt'r. the Premier, has again resigned, but is attempting to form another Ministry. The Vienna Socialist paper "Arbeitcr Zeitung" supports the .Socialist party's veto of a general strike. It contends that partial strikes often suffice to attain the objects of all classes. If a partial strike does not succeed other measures can follow. Further disorders are reported from Vienna. Rakers' shops and carts have been plundered, the rioter* demanding the conclusion of a general peace. The military has been called out, and a proclamation threatens to severely repress the disorders.— (A. and N.Z. (able.
