AMERICA'S CZECHO-SLAVS
TO FIGHT AGAINST AUSTRIA.
WASHINGTON, June 23.
The authorities have approved ot legislation permitting Jugoslavs, CzechoSlovenes. and Poles in the United States to take up arms against Austria, by becoming units of the American Army. This will add from 200,000 to 500,wd0 troops to the Amen-' can Army, and will widen the rift between these races and Austria.
Arrivals at San Francisco from Russia report* that thousands of Czechs are ready to leave Russia for the United States to fight against Austria. (A. and N.Z. Cable)
