QUEENSLAND ELECTIONS
ON THE 81-CAMERAL ISSUE. (Received 8.30 a~m.) BRISBANE, this day. The State elections have been fixed for Saturday. Abolition of the Legislative Council is the main issue. The Nationalists oppose the Ryan Government's Socialistic policy, and propose} to cooperate with the Federal Government in its efforts to win the war. The Government, if detiirned, will take it that the people want the abolition of the Legislative Council. —(A. and K.Z. Cable.)
