The Temperance Hotel at Whanga--omona. containing _1 rooms, owned by icClu2gage rlros.. and occupied by Mrs. Sneider, was totally destroyed by tire, lhe occupants escaping in their night attire. The insurances were: Building, £1000 in the South British Oflice: furniture, £4uu in the Commercial Union Office. The building co~t £ISnu to erect.
