The. triennial municipal elections throughout the whole State resulted in the rout of the labour candidates, majorities being obtained by Labour in onlythree instances. Tlie Darwin (Tasmania) by-election resulted in the return of the- Nationalist candidate ( M:r W. !•'. Spence) by a majority of 1,600.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) STATE REVENUES. SYDNEY, this day. The State revenue last year was £11.333,604, an increase of f 163,704. ADELAIDE, this day.
