DECISION AGAINST GOVERNMENT. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A cable has been received by Mr j'hos. Gray from Messrs. Rowson and Hudson, iVindon, to the effect that the English Courts have decided against the New Zealand Government in respect of New Zealand cheese which arrived in London between October 1, lillti, and .January Hi this year. This involved, roughly, 14.000 tons of cheese. The Government had decided to pay an average of 123/ per ewt :or a quantity seized prior to requisition at S)Jd free on board in New Zealand. As the result of this decision some £250,000 sterling will he paid to-those interested in the cheese, consignors -or buyers.
