i ' ' ORGANISATION FOR INDUSTRIES. 1 (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Defence informs mc that the Government finds it necessary to introduce legislation dealing with men classed as lit for home sen ice. The • Military Service Act only gives power to employ them in a military capacity, and the Government requires statutory authority to place them in essential industries if necessity arises. The National Efficiency Board is continuing its investigations in regard to men available to complete the organisation of New Zealand's industries. "After all." said Sir .lames Allen, "under the conditions we are living in to-day com--1 plete organisation of everything" is, in r my opinion, the best way to 'produce , efficiency and end the war!''
