EMPLOYMENT FOR SOLDIERS.
I AN' OFFICIAL PAMPHLET. A very well compiled pamphlet, eon'taining information .for discharged sol -diers desiring the Government's help in securing civil employment, has just, been iemtcvl by the Discharged Soldiers' Information Department. It contains the substance of a recent statement by the Minister in charge (the lion. A. L. Ilerdnian i upon the Government's proposals for re-alworbing soldiers into civil life both now nnd after the declaration of peace. The statement in question was nuiile with special reference to «uggestions made by the Dominion conference of the Returned Soldiers' Association last month, and was fully reported in the Press at tl.e time. Its re issue in pamphlet form, however, will lie welcomed by a good many returned men. especially an it gives full details of what the Government is doing now. and also information which will enable soldiers seeking employment to avail themselves immediately of the facilities which the Information Department offers. Included in the pamphlet is an application form which may be tilled in by the soldier, and a list of the Department's representatives throughout the Dominion. Copies of the pamphlet will be obtainable at the local employment bureau, which is situated in the. Soldiers' Club.
