Patricia won by two and a-half lengths. Time. 1.293BRISBANE. May 27. Tihc Brisbane Thousand, si- furlongs, resulted: —Amberdown 1. Claret King 2. Venerable 3. Amberdown won by four lengths. Time, 1.18. SCHOOLING AT ELLERSLIE. Although the track at Ellerslie this morning was very heavy. El Gallo and Ulster were schooled over the big fences in the centre of the course, jumping the obstacles a couple of times. The pair completed their task ivithout mistake.
