REPULSE OF ATTACKS CLAIMED (Received 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, May 20. A German official report states that fighting has increased in the Arras sector. We repulsed a strong English at--1 tack on both sides of Monchy. An English attack broke down southward of the Scarpe. The artillery is most active in the Queant sector. We maintained our captured position near Brave against strong French attack. The enemy lost eight aeroplanes. We heavily repulsed several attacks eastward «f the Ccrna in Macedonia.
