TWO CHRISTCHURCH NEWSFAP.ER3 (By Tetegraim —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. It is announced that the "Canterbury Times," the oldest weekly journal in the province, published by the "Lyttelton Times" Company, and the "Evening News," published by the "Christchurcn Press" Company, will shortly suspend publication in order to save men and material during the war period. The proprietors consider the sacrifice is necessary in promotion of national efficiency.
