A "Gazette Extraordinary" has been issued, containing the names of the men who, having been called up for service under the Military Servic-t Act, 101 ti. have failed to present themselves for medical examination. The notice refers to tbe fact that such persons may, by notice in the '"Gazette," be ordered to parade, and. on failing to do so, may be tried and punished under the Army Act for the offence of desertion or of absence without leave as the case may bo.
