RHODES SCHOLARS.
VACANCY TO BE FILLED.

WELLINGTON, this day.
The University of New Zealand has received a cable from the secretary of the Rhodes Trust, authorising the appointment of a committee to select an. additional Rhodes scholar at the next election, which takes place in December. This is to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Lieutenant A. Hudson, who was killed in action.
