ENORMOUS RESERVES OF MUNITIONS AVAILABLE. RUSSIANS CAPTURE HEIGHTS WEST OF ZLOTA-LTPA. PETROGRAD, October 5. The move forward towards Lemberg has recommenced, and the whole southern sector of the. Russian front is ablaze. General Brussiloff's immediate objective is Vladimir and the railway, at Kovcl. The Russians are in possession of enormous reserves of ammunition, and are shelling the Austrian line with unparalleled ferocity. A terrible battle has already been waged at Brzczany for three days. Under the cover of artillery .fire, the Russians crossed the Zlota-Lipa and captured the opposing heights.
