RUMANIAN CROSSING OF THE DANUBE.
BULGARS CLAIM TO HAVE WIPED OUT WHOLE FORCE. [Reuters Telegrams.] (Received 11.20 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, October 5. \ A BtiJgarian communique claims that Bulgarian columns from Rustchuk and Tnrtnkai surrounded and destroyed the fifteen or sixteen Rumanian battalions which crossed the Danube at Rahano without artillery. ALLIED OFFENSIVE IN THE DOBRWWA. (Received J1.40 a.m.) PETROGRAD, October 5. An official comm-inique says that the Russo-Rumanian offensive in the Dobrudja continues.
