SERBIANS MAKE BIG BREACH IN BULGAR LINE

VICTORY WHICH MAY DECIDE FATE OF MONASTIR, ENEMY RETREATING IN DISORDER. LONDON, October 5. The "Times" correspondent with the Serbian army says the Serbian victory far surpasses the most sanguine expectations. It has caused a breach 18 miles wide in the Bulgarian lines, through which the Serbians are pouring as fast as the natural difficulties permit. Renter's correspondent at headquarters of the Serbian army states that the Serbians have followed up their recent sweeping success on the Malkanidje " Ridge by a brilliant victory, which will probably decide the fate of Monastir. The Bulgarians have been forced to fall back from strong positions, and are . retreating in disorder in consequence of the capture by the Serbians of the whole of Mount Kajmackalan, which is the key to the plain of Monastir. The enemy will possibly attempt to stand on the line of the Cerna River. The Bulgarians are brave soldiers, but they have been shaken by the relentless artillery bombardment.
