CLAIM FOE POSSESSIOX. (By Telegraph.—'Press Assortatlou.J WELLINGTOJJ', this day. In the Supreme Comrt, in the case of Baker v. Worley (proprietor of Barton'e Circus), defendants council applied for an adjournment, defendant being serionelv ill at Auckland. The parties are showmen, and the claim "was for possession of certain nTrfma.la and damages fo» alleged -wrongful detention. - -Afterraagament, Mr Jaietice. Chapman - made an order for the defendant's evidence being taken in Auckland. The cbsie .was adjourned sine die.
